The outdoor unit is factory pre-charged with R454B (pre-charged) refrigerant, accommodating refrigerant line lengths of up to 25 ft. per circuit. If using a lineset that exceeds this length, additional refrigerant will need to be charged into the system during installation. This model can only be purchased with the 25 ft. lineset option. If needing a different length, please purchase additional linesets here.

We installed this to cool our master bedroom and home office. Having independent control in each room is amazing - I can keep my office cooler during the day while my wife keeps the bedroom warmer. Installation was relatively painless with the pre-charged linesets. The system runs quietly and efficiently.
We have this setup for our two bedrooms upstairs. Each room can be set to different temperatures which is perfect since we have different preferences. Our heating works amazingly well, even on the cold Vermont winters we have. And our energy bills are way lower than we thought they'd be.
As an HVAC contractor I've installed my fair share of dual-zone systems - and this one is an excellent value. The build quality is rock solid, the installation is pretty DIY-friendly with the pre-charged lines, and customers just love the independent zone control. The 24 SEER2 rating means real energy savings, not just some pie-in-the-sky promise.
This dual-zone system handles our guest room and office with ease. Setup took a weekend & not too painful once I'd read the instructions. Both zones heat and cool great. The only thing I'd say is the outdoor unit is a tiny bit bigger than I expected - but hey, it works great.
Got a pretty decent rebate from our utility company thanks to the certifications. The dual-zone setup is perfect for our needs - our bedroom stays cool at night, office comfortable during work hours. And the WiFi control for each zone is super handy. Cant recommend it enough.
